Office Staff

  • Shaun
Long-time patients will remember Shaun as the primary person who kept the front office running smoothly when the New Face of Dentistry opened in June 2006. Shaun was instrumental in assisting Doctor Ryan in finding ways to make a trip to the dentist a friendlier, less stressful experience. Shaun is a strong advocate for patients, and has been known to ruffle some feathers when dealing with insurance companies that place profits before healthcare concerns.

Nowadays, Shaun mostly deals with the business side of things, and relies on the clever, friendly folks at the office to exceed patient expectations. We aren’t perfect, but we care and we take your experience and expectations seriously. Let us know how we can make your visit better.

  • Erin
Erin has been with the New Face of Dentistry since 2008, and is the glue that has kept the office running. She had never planned on working in the field of dentistry, but when she decided that she needed a change of pace from her previous career as a restaurant manager, her friend Doctor Ryan lured her into joining up with the New Face of Dentistry crew. Erin didn’t know anything about dentistry, but threw herself into learning and has embraced the philosophy of providing friendly, respectful, patient-focused care.

Erin has earned the completely deserved reputation of going forth and battling with the tentacles of bureaucracy when insurance companies put the dollars before patient care. An average day will find her wearing many hats at the New Face of Dentistry office while chatting with patients, and then going home to her little girl Alexandra and her husband Rob.

  • Shelly
Though new to the dentistry field and The New Face of Dentistry family, she is not new to patient care or customer service. Having spent many years in the business industry with an emphasis in management, Shelly has an incredible knack for placing people at ease with her easy going demeanor.

Shelly always faces the day to day operations of the office with a smile and a positive attitude. She enjoys the challenges and rewards that dentistry has to offer and looks forward to developing relationships with patients.

She grew up in the south Puget Sound area and now calls Puyallup home after returning from living in northern Idaho for many years. In addition to her NFOD family, Shelly has two teenage daughters that keep her busy and happy.

  • Jillian
Jillian began working in the dental field in 2003 and has been at The New Face of Dentistry since Dec 2013. Jillian began her career in the front office but after graduating from Central Washington University with Bachelor's Degree in Biology, she found her calling in the dental hygiene arena and subsequently received a degree in Dental Hygiene from Bellingham Technical College. She was drawn to The New face of Dentistry for their team work approach to patient care. Putting the patient first and making them feel comfortable is important to her. Her bubbly and outgoing personality help patients feel at ease in the dental chair. She believes in building lasting relationships with patients while helping them to maintain excellent oral health.

When not at the office, she enjoys continuing education, traveling, crafting, reading and spending time with friends and family.
